The Action Committee of Concerned Friends of WBAI plans and coordinates various forms of actions to protest the firings, bannings and censorship of WBAI producers and to challenge the illegitimate Pacifica Board, its individual members, and its national and local management.

Our goal is to defend and restore WBAI's independent critical voice and to advance the goal of a democratic, locally controlled radio station and network.

We organize demonstrations, rallies, marches, phone/fax/letter campaigns and other forms of activism to put forth our demands and gain public support. We work closely with the Outreach and Media Committees to make each action a success.

Our meetings are generally on Tuesdays at 6:30 PM. Check this site for specifics about meetings, or write to the email address below.
