'Notice of Meeting Cancellation'

I just received the following notice. As always with Pacifica's pronouncements, the rhetoric falls far short of reality.

I just spoke with Carol Spooner, lead plaintiff in the listeners' lawsuit, and she told me the following: "Late last week, our attorney contacted the board majority's attorney, Daly Temchin (of Epstein Becker & Green), to demand that there be no elections of new directors at the special meeting noticed for July 1, or we would go to court to stop it. On Tuesday, Mr. Temchin responded that as a gesture of good faith and desire to settle the cases, they would cancel the meeting, Thus far no negotiations are planned. Preliminary discussions among attorneys are tentatively planned for early next week to see if settlement negotiations are ripe at this time."

I am trying to get more details about this situation. I'll let people know as soon as I find out more.
