Note
to newer Internet users - When you get to the pages linked
to below, you are ultimately given two choices for each show.
You can either 'download' or 'play' each program.
|
|
'Download'
allows you to save the program on your computer (so you can
hear it again later when you are not connected to the Internet),
but takes longer to actually 'play'.
To actually listen to the program:
·
you will first need to download (retrieve) the entire file
(radio program) to your computer,
· save it somewhere on your computer,
· and then 'play' the file with one of the programs
installed on your computer (the file is an '.mp3' file. winamp
is an example of a program that can play these files.)
|
|
'Play'
allows you to start listening to the program a lot quicker
(generally you can start listening to the program within a
few minutes, as opposed to the 'download' method which can
take you over an hour - depending on the program length!).
However,
you cannot save it on your computer, or listen to it again
after you disconnect from the Internet,
To
actually listen to the program:
·you simply click on the 'play' link
